I'm back!!

My life has been a little crazy lately, starting back in August of 2012. I shattered my kneecap and had to have surgery to put it back together. I have finally recovered from it but a little slow on the walking but at least I don't have to use crutches anymore.
I'm finally back in my sewing room working on projects once again. I will work on posting more pictures of the finished products. I also bought myself another sewing machine, which makes it 10 in my collection!! It's a industrial sewing machine that sews leather and other heavy materials and once we got it all cleaned up and running, it was awesome!!
My first project on it was a recycled bag made from an awning given to me.
The bird on the front was from a Dairy Queen Banner.

CarBage Sacks

Been awhile since I've posted any pictures. I've been so busy with my sewing that the posting has been put on the back burner. These are the latest CarBage Sacks with more pictures to be added. Most of the wildlife ones are already sold and no more will be made with the prints.

Gift or Storage Bags

Gift Bags
I found this idea at http://www.zaaberry.blogspot.com/ and used Stampin Up fabrics and embellishments. Very easy to make and fun to give with a gift inside.  Great for storing homemade cards in.

Over the Moon Undies

Another three pairs of boxers for my grandson, Mason. My niece, Brenda Steiner, gave me the new name for them and I love it. The name fits them perfect so now I have to make up some new labels for them. Mason's going to have a pair for every day of the year at the rate I'm making these. They are so much fun to make and quick to sew up. The best part about these is the fabrics that you can use for these.

Mason's boxers

My latest sewing project. I made boxers for my little grandson and he loves them!!!! Now he wants more out of some awesome fabric that Mandy and I picked out at JoAnns Fabric. The best thing about them is that they fit him perfect and look soooooo adorable on him.
